NSW State Library celebrates the altering world of image books.
Among the best image books and unique artistic endeavors within the assortment of the NSW State Library might be on show – many for the primary time – within the library’s main new exhibition, Think about… the Surprise of Image Books, which opens on Saturday. July 9 opens . Tales and characters from beloved Australian image books come to life on this celebration of youngsters’s literature.

Think about… the surprise of image books celebrates the highly effective and evolving world of image books via unique illustrations from 44 illustrators, video and audio content material that includes established and rising authors and illustrators who share their work, inspirations and inventive processes, in addition to hands-on actions.
Highlights of the exhibition embody:

- There may be additionally a devoted exercise room, full of enjoyable issues to do. Study to attract common ebook characters, create a zine, learn books from the exhibit (together with 10 created in Braille), and play with the enormous textured tree and magnetic wall.
